Prometric is a licencing criterion for nurses who prefer to work in Oman, Saudi Arabia, or Qatar. The Saudi Commission of Health Specialties (SCHS) and the Supreme Council of Health Qatar have established standards for evaluating foreign nurses' knowledge in their respective fields. The examination is the most effective approach to determine if the registered nurse is capable of properly serving the people of these countries.
Prometric is a world-class provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment solutions to several of the world's most prestigious licencing and certification organisations, academic institutions, and government bodies. As the best Prometric coaching centre in Kerala, we recognise the critical role that assessment programmes play in advancing professional and academic careers, increasing economic opportunity and mobility for competent people, and safeguarding the health and safety of the communities in which we live and work. In this context, we have spent years developing and refining the skills necessary to serve these essential objectives. We have built a strong foundation of knowledge in industry verticals such as healthcare, financial services, information technology, professional services, and government licencing by working collaboratively with subject matter experts and leading organisations to understand current organisational requirements as well as future market challenges.
The format involves answering 100 multiple-choice questions. For Oman and Qatar PROMETRIC, the test duration is 2.5 hours. Saudi PROMETRIC has two different exams. One is for registered nurses and the other is for nurse technicians. A candidate will have to answer 150 MCQs in 3 hours. The questions are based on practical aspects of nursing.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an exam that tests a candidate’s English proficiency across the four skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking. This test is co-owned by the British Council, the IDP Australia and Cambridge ESOL Examinations division. The onus of conducting the tests across the globe lies on the British Council and the IDP.
